1.Product Introduction
A Silica Sand Washing Plant is an industrial system designed to purify natural or manufactured sand. Using physical washing methods, it removes dust, clay, silt, salt, and organic impurities to produce high-purity, clean sand that meets industrial standards. These plants are primarily categorized into Spiral (Screw) Type and Wheel (Bucket) Type and are widely utilized in mining, construction, and glass manufacturing.

3.Working Principle
Feeding: Raw sand is fed into the washing tank via conveying equipment.
Washing:
Spiral Type: A motor drives spiral blades to rotate in the water tank. The sand is continuously tumbled and rubbed, while impurities are discharged from the overflow outlet with the water flow.
Wheel Type: A motor drives an impeller to rotate slowly via a reducer. The sand is flipped and rubbed against each other by the impeller; impurities are washed away, and clean sand is lifted by the buckets and discharged.
Dewatering: The washed wet sand passes through a dewatering screen or spiral device to separate moisture and reduce water content.
Recovery: Some systems are equipped with fine sand recovery units to minimize the loss of fine sand (above 0.14mm), increasing resource utilization.
